【Report】 3 days wedding trip-Kyoto, Kyoto by the Sea

2018.11.13

Amber & Ryan’s Wedding trip of three days went well in Kyoto city and Kyoto by the Sea of Japan (countryside of Kyoto prefecture)!

Our communication by Facebook Business Page was so smooth and prompt, I believe.

I met Amber and Ryan in person in central Kyoto finally, but they both were so friendly and nice couple as I expected! I truly enjoyed the whole time with this lovely couple and was honored to be their planner and celebrant (not legally binding)!!

【Day 1 – Dating scene photoshoot】

Photographer – Yukiya Sonoda

First of all, we went to the Owl’s house as Amber loves animals and Owl

Owl’s faces were so cute!

Took a walk on Shijo street and head to Kamo riverside..

I LOVE the way Amber looked at Ryan! So lovely!!!!

At Fushimi Inari shrine which is one of the most popular shrines for sight-seeing.

We took a Keihan railway and that must have become a good experience for them!

There are more than 1,000 shrine gates and they were donated by companies and individuals.

Then we moved to Higashiyama district by taxi! with Yasaka-no-to (Five stories pagoda) in the background. It was around 18:00, I guess.

【Day 2 – Dating scene photoshoot in Amanohashidate, Miyazu city, Kyoto

We met up at Kyoto station and took an express train bound for Amanohashidate which is one of the best three great view sites. It was a rainy day but Amber and Ryan enjoyed the ride with bento box!

At Amanohashidate, we went up to “Amanohashidate View Land ” for the beautiful view!

In a cable car.

This is a signature pose ! The pinetree sandbar looks like it going up to the sky, but how was it?

You can enjoy some rides at this amusement park!

Then we went down by lift as it stopped raining.

They also visit Chionji temple ( Monjudo) and drew a paper fortune, and enjoyed Japanese mochi sweet with Matcha green tea!

Amber and Ryan stayed at a luxury Onsen hotel and were relaxed for their elopement ceremony of the next day.

【Day 3- Wedding day! 】

And the wedding day of Amber and Ryan came finally!

We were worried about raining a bit, but it stopped right before we went trekking to their wedding ceremony place, a Kirifuri no taki waterfall!

And their sacred and beautiful ceremony started. So beautiful and lovely couple… In Japan, we say fast flowing water of waterfall purify our mind and body. We hope this atmosphere made their ceremony solemn.

Their happy and beautiful smiles made us happy as well!

Totoro from My neighbor Totoro and his friends celebrated their wedding as their guests!

Thank to rains, the color of moss and leaves became deep green:)

After we enjoyed a local lunch, we went to Tateiwa rock for photoshoot and experienced a scenic train, AKAMATSU ride.
